Your privacy is our luxury. Clear Cuisine is designed from the ground up to ensure that your culinary data remains yours and yours alone.
Clear Cuisine does not collect, store, or transmit any personal identification, recipe data, or browsing history to our servers. All information you save is stored locally on your device via iCloud (if enabled) for cross-device synchronization.
All recipe extraction and analysis are performed locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's Foundation Models (Apple Intelligence). Your data never leaves your device and is never used for training AI models.
When you provide a recipe URL, Clear Cuisine fetches the publicly available content of that webpage to perform the extraction. We do not share your identity or usage patterns with these third-party websites.
If you use iCloud, your recipes are encrypted and stored in your private iCloud database. We have no access to this data.
Since we do not collect your data, you have total control. You can delete your recipes or the entire app at any time, and all associated data will be removed from your device.
